- The Program on Science and Global Security (SGS), part of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), seeks to hire a Program Manager to work with Program leadership, faculty members and researchers on projects related to scientific, technical and policy research, analysis and outreach to advance national and international policies for a safer and more peaceful world.
- The ideal candidate would be able to take on a wide range of tasks, including (1) budgeting and labor accounting; (2) grant management and applications; (3) recruitment and hiring of staff, including onboarding and working with vendors and contractors; and (4) program administration, reporting, communications, and event planning.
- Grant Management and Applications: The Program Manager develops budgets for new research grants, compiles grant application materials, drafts contractual arrangements with collaborating institutions, tracks expenditures, supervises subcontracts and agreements with outside institutions, submits requests for no-cost extensions, coordinates production of interim and final reports, and donor reporting for grants.
- Program Manager collaborates with the Financial Management Office at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and Princeton University's Office of Research & Project Administration.
- Recruitment and hiring of staff: The Program Manager assists Program leadership with hiring staff, postdoctoral, predoctoral, and visiting researchers, contractors, casual hourly staff and student research assistants as needed.
