- The Program Director II will oversee and direct the staff and program development of the assigned program area(s) in the Violence Prevention department at the Y Social Impact Center.
- This position will oversee staff and contracts serving youth and families affected by gun violence and/or group/gang involvement, involvement with the juvenal justice system, and/or other systems in the West Seattle neighborhoods of Seattle (for SCSI position) or South King County communities of Kent, Burien, Tukwila, unincorporated King County Skyway, Auburn, and Enumclaw, Highline community and other locations as assigned.
- 3+ years of professional or volunteer experience working with high risk , system involved (homeless, justice, behavioral health, foster care) youth and/or young adults or equivalent community-based or informal service to this youth/young adult population
- Personal e xperience and knowledge with gun violence and/or group/gang involvement , justice system, and/or other systems.
- Master’s degree related to non-profit leadership (public administration, social work, business or related field).
