- Prepares and conducts community educational training sessions and group psycho education with children and adolescents or adults in the areas of drug and alcohol abuse, prevention, interpersonal skills, and other topics related to substance abuse prevention and mental health literacy.
- Assist schools and other community groups in identifying issues/problems related to substance abuse and mental health developing appropriate prevention education, training and activities to address these risk factors and to increase prevention protective factors.
- Researches, compiles and edits course outlines, lesson plans and training aids to be utilized in substance abuse and mental health education and prevention.
- Maintains library references, audio-visual training aids, and other educational resources utilized in drug, alcohol, and mental health educational programs.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling or closely related human services field.
