Examples Of Duties And Responsibilities <ul><li>Interview defendants in jail within 24 hours of incarceration.</li><li>Complete required assessments</li><li>Make recommendation to trial.</li><li>Make recommendation to trial courts for pretrial release with supervision and diversion.</li><li>Monitor compliance for clients released with conditions or referred to diversion.</li><li>Monitor compliance with conditions of contract.</li><li>Submit detailed written reports to the appropriate entities.</li><li>Keep statistics for the preparation of monthly reports.</li><li>Broker community resources for diversion and conditional release.</li><li>Appear in court as needed.</li><li>Prepare affidavits of indigence for the courts.</li><li>Enter data into prim.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: 1 year of job related experience Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Associates Degree w/2 years job related experience or High School Degree w/4 years job related experience. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be able to pass FBI clearance to obtain NCIC certification. Must be able to work in the jail or detention center of the county or counties in which assigned. Must maintain NCIC certification. Working Conditions Work is typically performed in an office setting within a detention center. Supervision and case management of adult criminal defendants and/or adult offenders. Travel required.
