The Outagamie County Jail has a total of 556 beds and has a diverse population that includes both male and female adults, Huber Law/work release inmates and contract prisoners from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

The Jail-Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) program, a California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) satellite program, operates as a 6-bed adult unit at the Mendocino County Jail. Our patients have been found Incompetent to Stand Trial due to ongoing mental illness or disability (e.g., serious mental illness such as a psychotic or major mood disorder, or cognitive disability.
