- Overview The Healthy Aging Initiative at the Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research housed within Hebrew SeniorLife (a Harvard Medical School affiliate) is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to support our longitudinal cohort study, an initiative to empower older adults to live their best lives through translational research in healthy aging.
- An advanced degree, PhD or equivalent, in a gerontological related field is required (e.g., gerontology, gero-science, human development and aging, social health psychology, clinical psychology, gerontology, social work, nursing, etc
- Responsibilities The Postdoctoral Fellow will be involved in developing primary data collection projects, developing analytic tools, conducting the analysis, and preparing/publishing manuscripts.
- The Postdoctoral Fellow will work collaboratively with the Healthy Aging Initiative research team to implement research plans and write reports and manuscripts utilizing an advanced level of social science research knowledge, including quantitative and qualitative analyses, and excellent writing skills.
- The Postdoctoral Fellow will apply critical thinking skills, particularly synthesizing a body of research to identify broader themes and convey these themes through written research reports.
