- The UF Health Sleep Center provides diagnosis and treatment for a variety of sleep disorders under the direction of a multidisciplinary team of University of Florida College of Medicine board-certified sleep medicine physicians.
- The center interacts with a variety of physicians, including adult and pediatric pulmonologists, neurologists, dentists, surgeons and sleep psychologists to diagnose and treat sleep disorders in adults and children.
- The 12-bed Sleep Disorders Center, located at Magnolia Parke, operates seven nights per week and features state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.
- The polysomnographic technologist performs polysomnograms overnight, administers oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure, and employs ventilatory assist devices in accordance with established protocols.
- Recognizes at-risk events and notifies appropriate physicians.
