- Data entry and recordkeeping practices; use of proper English grammar, spelling, and punctuation in completing and verifying information in basic police reports and other records; radio codes and transmission procedures; customer service techniques.
- Learn and adhere to local ordinances and regulations; complete and review traffic collision reports and routine police records; operate computer hardware and modern office equipment; enter and retrieve data; follow oral and written instructions; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other law enforcement agencies, and the general public.
- Retirement - California Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) PST Deferred Compensation Plan. Contribution to this account is 7.5% per pay period, the City pays 3.75% and the employee pays 3.75% deducted from salary.
