- The Laboratory Point of Care Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the laboratory Point of Care program in compliance with regulatory requirements, policy and procedures and the TCRHCC goal of quality patient care.
- The Point of Care program includes laboratory tests that fall under the Waived and Provider Performed Microscopy (PPMP) categories of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) standards.
- Associate degree in laboratory science, chemical, physical, biological science, or health professionals
- A current unexpired Medical Laboratory Technician certification from a nationally recognized certification agency.
- Actively participates in the maintenance of Laboratory Accreditation by adhering to standards in safety, performance improvement, document control, quality assurance, proficiency and competency.
