We are looking for someone with a passion for people. Location: Great Fallas, MT 59405-5940 Start Date: 1/29/2024 Shift: Days, FullTime Salary: $115,000.00 to $125,000.00 The director is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of patients. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall nursing practice and administrative activities for the ten-bed Intensive Care Unit and eight bay Pre/Post Cath Lab area. Organizes, plans, and directs nursing service functions and activities. Is responsible for Intensive Care program development, policies, and procedures of nursing care and staff education and competency development. Ensures compliance with nursing care standards established by commissions, federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, and adherence to institutional objectives and policies about nursing. Maintains open communication with all staff to promote performance improvement. This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing and management practice and exceptionally demonstrated leadership abilities. Receives direction from the hospital's Chief Nursing Officer and Medical Director. Experience/Education/Qualification Experience: <ul><li>A minimum of 3-5 years experience in the ICU and/or CCU setting, is required.</li><li>Two years of experience in supervisory/administrative/management is required.</li><li>Strongly recommended: </li><li>Dialysis Nurse Trained</li><li>Vascular Nurse Trained (PICC, Midline) </li></ul>Education <ul><li>A bachelor of Nursing Degree is required.</li><li>Masters in healthcare, preferred. </li></ul>Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration <ul><li>A current Montana RN License is required. </li></ul>Shift: Days Knowledge/Skills/Abilities <ul><li>Requires knowledge of federal and state regulatory agency standards related to inpatient, and acute care areas.</li><li>Cognitive and technical knowledge and the ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care within the acute care setting.</li><li>Knowledge of basic nursing principles and procedures, AACN standards.</li><li>Coaching and counseling of subordinates; time management; and delegation.</li><li>Interviewing and strong human resources as well as exceptional communication skills required.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)
