- Job Details Description Central City Concern is an innovative nonprofit agency providing comprehensive services to single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions.
- This position supports clients of Blackburn Clinic SUDS. The Peer Support Specialist will work with Behavioral Healthcare Team of Mental Health Clinicians, PMHNP’s, PCP’s and other program staff to provide outreach, engagement, connection to services and support for individuals with psychosocial and behavioral health support needs.
- The Peer Support Specialist provides recovery-oriented based services to individuals who have self-identified as desiring peer support, community integration and recovery-based relationships.
- The Peer Support Specialist is the second level of a three-level series.
- Demonstrated knowledge of community agencies and self-help groups.
