- In partnership with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, MobilizeGreen seeks an Urban Conservation Crew Leader for our summer youth program.
- The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of diverse high-school youth to work on conservation-related projects and participate in environmental education and leadership development activities at Patuxent Research Refuge in Laurel, MD over an 8-week period.
- This program includes outreach and engagement of young adults from underserved communities including but not limited to African American/Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, veteran communities, and people who identify as LGBTQ+ or with disabilities.
- The Patuxent Research Refuge was established in 1936 by executive order of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and is the only wildlife refuge established to support wildlife research.
- Assist with Environmental Education and team building lessons during crew days
