- We are seeking a dessert aficionado with a passion for creating sweet masterpieces to join the team at a local Convention Center as Pastry Chef. The Pastry Chef will lead the pastry team in crafting imaginative and delicious desserts that will leave our customers wanting more If you have a culinary education, 3- 5 years of experience in a high production kitchen and a love for baking, we are interested in talking to you about this exciting opportunity!
- Coordinate, plan, participate, and supervise the production, preparation and presentation of baked goods, desserts, pastries, and confectionary with a focus on banquet production.
- Understand and appreciate the subtleties of flavor pairings and different tastes, and have a good aesthetic sense for food and pastry presentation.
- Provide a safe, sanitary work environment, which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable, competitive quality products.
- Supervise and participate in the production, preparation, and presentation of all baked goods and pastries for unit as assigned by the Executive Chef and / or Executive Sous Chef to ensure that a consistent quality product is produced which conforms to all established standards.
