Summer camps run from June 10, 2024 - August 9, 2024. We will be holding mandatory staff training the first week of June (exact dates TBD ). Exact dates and times will be emailed to hired-on applicants once the schedule has been finalized. These positions will work between 35 and 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between 8 am - 5 pm. There are some part-time hours available before the summer. DEFINITION Plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises a variety of Community Service programs, activities, and special events, and performs other related duties as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS The Part-Time Community Services Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of Community Services' programs, activities, and special events. The incumbent may provide program oversight at multiple locations or a single facility including selecting, scheduling, training, and supervising staff and volunteers to lead program activities. This class is distinguished from the Community Services Supervisor which has broader program and facilities' supervision responsibilities. SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED General supervision is provided by the Community Services Supervisor.
