- The Outreach Specialist works closely with other New Day and New Avenues staff, as well as community partners- developing and implementing an innovative, adaptable, survivor-centered, co-advocacy, service model for commercially and sexually exploited youth across Multnomah County.
- This outreach specialist provides outreach, crisis intervention, safety planning, resource & referral, basic needs support to young people and helps them connect with the mentor/advocate team for intensive case management services.
- Using a positive youth development and trauma-informed approach, the work will focus on prevention, intervention and transition through harm reduction, and life skill development & support.
