- ABOUT THE ROLEThe Outpatient Mental Health Therapist will provide a full range of direct and indirect services to children and their families presenting with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Services include: Child Parent Psychotherapy, family therapy, individual child therapy, ongoing case management, assessment, treatment and discharge planning and advocacy.
- Provides direct treatment services, group therapy, and group facilitation to assigned cases, including case management, parental skills training (PPP, Incredible Years, PFR, PCIT or TF-CBT), crisis intervention, home visits, referral and advocacy, and therapy in a culturally sensitive and family focused, strength-based manner.
- Preference will be given to individuals experienced with case work with disadvantaged or dysfunctional families from a variety of cultural backgrounds and those with experience in working with preschool children.
