- SUMMARY: The Occupancy Specialist, a key member of the Occupancy & Compliance team, is responsible for maximizing physical and financial utilization of the Central City Concern housing portfolio.
- The Occupancy Specialist manages waitlists, processes applications and income certifications, prepares leases and addenda, monitors vacancy, coordinates Section 8 subsidies, coordinates tenant move-ins, assists with rent collections, and works with property managers and resident services to sustain successful tenancies.
- This is not a leasing agent or housing placement specialist role.
- Direct knowledge and experience performing LIHTC Tenant Income Certifications, including income calculations, verification processing, and other elements related to determining eligibility.
- Sufficient computation skills to process and validate application-related LIHTC, HOME, HOPWA, and other tenant certification functions.
