- Job Description Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY:The Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner (IRNP) works in collaboration with the Interventional Radiologists to provide Comprehensive Care for patients.
- The IRNP is able to perform diagnostic exams without a radiologist present.
- As a clinical leader for the Interventional Radiology program, the IRNP is involved in process improvement projects and is an educational resource for patient, families, and staff.
- Potentially, IRNP will play a vital role in the community outreach programs for disseminating information for new and advance radiological technologies that are available for service.
- Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
