- Provides management of the quality program for radiopharmaceutical production and various radiopharmaceutical research and development activities.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsibilities include but not limited to: Pharmacist-in-Charge of a Nuclear Pharmacy distributing a variety of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Operates cyclotron, automated radiochemistry synthesis devices, and associated equipment in compliance with protocols and good ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) radiation safety practices as needed.
- Maintains radiochemistry, radiopharmacy, and cyclotron facility in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and appropriate environmental controls.
- Acts as the quality assurance manager to ensure the completion of production processes and the release of manufactured products.
