- Under the supervision of the Medical Director of Imaging Services, prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic studies, performs nuclear medicine, and position emission tomography (PET) and computerized tomography (CT) examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians.
- Reviews patients medical history prior to performing Nuclear Medicine and/or PET-CT procedure.
- Under the general supervision of the Physician, prepares stock, solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculates doses, and administers doses.
- Follows Radiation Safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Nuclear Medicine Technologist within 6 months of hire from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
