- JOB DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of an attending neonatologist and following established protocols, manages care for high-risk newborns and their families in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Assesses patient by obtaining comprehensive perinatal history.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice provider in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body or Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
