- Job Summary: The Special Education Low-Incidence Instructional Coach serves as part of the Department of Student Services Leadership Team and is responsible for bringing evidence-based practices to support students with low incidence disabilities into classrooms by working with and supporting special education teachers, general education teachers, and administration with the goal of increasing student engagement, improving student achievement, and building teacher capacity.
- He/she partners with special education teachers to support student learning.
- The Special Education Low-Incidence Instructional Coach focuses on individual and group professional development that will expand and refine researched-based effective instruction.
- In order to meet this purpose, the Special Education Low-Incidence Instructional Coach will provide personalized support that is based on the goals and identified needs of individual teachers.
