- Under indirect supervision and utilizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment, produces diagnostic quality cross-sectional images of the brain, spinal cord, head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, large joints and other areas of the human anatomy and vasculature.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care medical center 6 months of clinical experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist in an acute care medical center.
- Successful completion of an accredited educational program in radiological technology approved by the American Medical Association and the American College of Radiology as well as an on-the-job or formal training program in cross sectional anatomy and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Certification by the State of California as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT )
- Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
