- Marion County Health & Human Services is looking for a qualified individual to work 50% within the Marion County Correctional Facility to provide services to Adults in Custody (AIC) and 50% as a Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS) Clinician.
- While in the jail, this position provides crisis counseling and resource/referral information for AIC's.
- It requires a creative individual who can think outside the box and work compassionately with AIC's as well as the jail staff to provide the best possible outcomes for the individuals we serve.
- Provide intensive case coordination, including triage, crisis intervention and referral to jail psychiatric prescriber as appropriate for consumers who are in jail.
- Provide case management and assessments in consultation and in coordination with jail/medical staff, probation and parole officers, psychiatric crisis center (PCC), pre-commitment, contract staff and adult behavioral health.
