- Responsible for answering a high volume of telephone calls, redirecting calls to appropriate physicians or staff, scheduling (new) patient appointments, reviewing and building patient demographic information in IDX, scanning records into Allscripts.
- Other administrative front desk responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager or Administrator.
- Triage & direct phone calls to appropriate individual or area.
- Enter patient information into IDX system.
- Follow-up with referring physician &/or patient if referral is required.
