- May also perform other procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, lab tests and injections (once competency has been assessed).
- Upon arrival, captures patient’s vital signs, past medical, social and family history, medication usage and preferred pharmacy information.
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements including HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
- Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate to be received within 90 days, plus one of the following:Prior working experience in a medical office/clinic performing clinical MA duties.
- Upon hire these disciplines will be assessed for clinical competency and be required to successfully complete an MA orientation | externship as well as complete any additional training as required by the Provider.
