Responsible for registration process of employees and volunteers.  </p><p><strong><em>Minimum Job Requirements </em> </strong>  </p><ul><li>American Heart Association BLS - must maintain active and in good standing throughout employment<br> </li><li>Medical Assistant certification (or) graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program<br> </li><li>2-4 years of Medical Assistant experience <br> </li><li>2-4 years of experience in a clinical office setting<br> </li> <br></ul><br><h5>Qualifications </h5> <p><strong><em>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </em> </strong>  </p><ul><li>Assists the ARNP in performing clinical duties such as Drug screenings, phlebotomy, TB skin test, immunizations & N-95 fit testing plus any other duty requested by the ARNP  </li><li>Handles incoming calls, takes messages, schedules appointments, and register patients in PEDS system according to department guidelines.  </li><li>Completes and collects financial and payroll deduction forms. Maintains accurate records for the hospital cashier.  </li><li>Oversees the completion of official Employee Injury Reports. Secures initial medical evaluation in the EHO or ER as needed.  </li><li>Monitors inventory of office supplies and medications to order and re-stock office as needed.  </li><li>Retrieves, opens, and dates mail, responding to requests for records by email, fax, or letter.  </li><li>Enters data into STIX/Agility and runs selected reports for leaders  </li><li>Performs messenger services including transportation of laboratory specimens, pick up of clinical supplies & pharmacy items in an effective & efficient manner.  </li><li>Responsible for registration process of employees and volunteers.  </li><li>Coordinate and oversees all employee communications with ARNP(s) including pertinent messages and documents that need to be completed.
