- Posting Details Position Information Position Title Media Services Technical Assistant Division Presbyterian Job Description Summary:Under the direction of the Director of Media Services, the Technical Assistant manages the operations of the Media Center, which would include assisting students and faculty with technology based requests and projects.
- Project tasks include the use and knowledge of digital video production, cameras, mixed media recording, etc.
- The Technical Assistant will also be responsible for event set up and operation of audio visual equipment at various venues and manage the venue technology during the events.
- Preferred Qualifications Skills Needed:· Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications· Work independently with little direction· Lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds· Communicate effectively, both verbally as well as in writing· Licensed and able to operate a motor vehicle· Ability to provide technical training Education/Experience:● Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science / technology or business, or related experience.
- Physical Demands The employee is required to bend, lift, climb, push and/or carry light to moderately heavy equipment, while performing duties or installing, setting up, and/or demonstrating such equipment.
