- In-Home Therapy is a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a clinician and the youth/family for the purpose of treating the youth's behavioral health needs, which includes improving the family's ability to provide effective support for the youth.
- Summary Of In-home Therapist's Responsibilities
- Provide family therapy services to clients and families with MassHealth and Commercial insurance policies needing more intensive support than traditional individual therapy provides.
- Work with the entire family, or a subset of the family, to implement focused interventions and behavioral techniques: enhance communication and problem-solving, build skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, improve ineffective patterns of interaction, identify and utilize community resources, and develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent/care giver(s) to promote sustained treatment gains.
