- PIDC is governed by a thirty-member Board of Directors, appointed by the Mayor of Philadelphia and the President of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
- The Navy Yard electric utility provides reliable, affordable power to Navy Yard businesses through traditional distribution technology and generation assets, including a community solar array, a 6.4MW battery storage system, and an 8MW natural gas-fired peaking plant that helps manage periods of high demand and market volatility.
- The Marketing, Communications, and Community Engagement Intern will report to the Director of Navy Yard Marketing & Communications who oversees Navy Yard communications strategies, marketing, events, community development, and corporate social responsibility.
- The intern will help to develop marketing content in a variety of print and electronic formats; assist with community outreach and engagement initiatives; assist with creative placemaking activities; organize and participate in community events, projects, and meetings with Navy Yard tenants, partners, stakeholders, and community leaders.
