- Job Title : Advocacy and Counseling Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Client Services Program Reports to: Program Director Effective Date: 7/1/2023 Pay Rate: $60,000 year - $62,000 year $28.85 hour - $29.81 hour Position Overview To ensure the successful completion of program objectives, tasks, activities, and responsibilities, a minimum of 40-45 hours per week is required.
- Serve clients who are victims of family violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, and child sexual abuse.
- Identify, recommend, and coordinate collaboration opportunities to reach victims and victim service providers to build relationships to serve better victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Develop and update counseling plans by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing assessment data and victimization history; establish courses of action that promote the healing and empowerment of clients.
- Provide direct and indirect advocacy, assistance, and follow-up to victims/secondary victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
