- Our products include debt and equity financing, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, fixed income products, derivatives, energy, foreign exchange and precious & metals.
- Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, HRBP, the Manager, HRBP will support the respective teams within their assigned portfolio by providing advice and guidance on sensitive issue including total rewards, performance management, talent, leadership, development, diversity and inclusion, change management and employee engagement.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
- Providing support on talent, leadership and employee development for stakeholders within assigned client portfolio by: Partnering with Stakeholder Senior Management teams and the Senior Manager, HRBP for the US, when required, to develop and deliver client specific initiatives related to recruitment, leadership resource planning, learning & development, retention & employee engagement.
- Proactively utilizing a wide range of HR data to identify themes/trends and recommend effective HR strategies to meet the business needs and facilitate positive employee engagement Actively participating in roll out of global and local engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
