- Provides support to operations management for maintenance, repair and improvement of physical systems and equipment, vendor relations, and cost control.
- Maintains various facility systems such as water, utilities, generators, lighting, security, pest control, etc.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of all facilities departments, to include: oversight of installation and maintenance of mechanical and stationary systems, including boiler operations, to ensure a safe and efficient environment; oversight of campus grounds and outside maintenance duties; oversight of general duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and bed repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of computer programs, and the operating principles of a wide range of non-medical equipment is required.
