- As a Management Trainee, you will work directly with your Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and developing leadership skills that will propel you to become an excellent Store Manager.
- The Management Trainee will also share responsibility for training and motivating Teammates and act as the Store Manager in their absence.
- Management Trainees perform a variety of sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (e.g. cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities).
- Communicate store repair needs to Store ManagerImmediately handle emergencies in Store Manager’s absence, in accordance with Company guidelinesProvide feedback to Store Manager and Leadership Team regarding merchandise handling concernsCommunicate any policy violations and Teammate or Guest concerns to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources in a timely, confidential mannerUnderstand and apply the Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all Buckle’s policies, procedures, and handbooks.
- Supervisory and Leadership Support Store Manager by planning and leading the Team, daily reviewing with Teammates and participation in Team meetingsPartner with Store Manager to ensure that all OnBoarding new hire paperwork is promptly and accurately completedPrepare to be a Store Manager by collaboratively supervising Teammates in their store location with supervision from store management.
