- Skill in oral communication to explain procedures, policies, and alternatives; obtain information about operations and needs; coordinate personnel management activities and establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of personnel within and outside NASM and the Smithsonian.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
