- The Licensed Vocational Triage Nurse is a part of the Call Center team, but with a unique focus on delivering healthcare to patients telephonically.
- This position is devoted to the delivery of care in an ambulatory setting with the emphasis on disease prevention, health maintenance, and patient satisfaction.
- The patient may be able to supply values such as (i.e. weight, blood pressure, medical history, health maintenance and chief complaint) to aid in the telephonic assessment.
- Triage and process telephone and e-mail messages, as well as medication refill requests, from patients and provide feedback and answers to patient/provider/pharmacy per physician protocol.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, manager or director.
