- Job OverviewThe candidate will be a documentation specialist for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) United States Coast Guard (USCG) Integrated Product Team (IPT) with an expertise in Logistics.
- The candidate will create and update Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Equipment Support Sheets (ESS) and other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents using MadCap Flare (an HTML-based software), perform Quality Assurance (QA) of ILS documentation, and edit Engineering Changes-Time Compliance Technical Orders (EC-TCTO).
- ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Job Functions:Create, review, and modify ILS documentation including but not limited to ILSPs, ESSs, Training Guides, and User’s Logistics Support Summaries (ULSS).
- Gather and analyze technical and equipment information from various sources to develop document content.
- Collaborate with technicians, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and Engineering Drawing drafters to create Quick Reference Diagrams (QRD) and gather system configurations and information.
