- The primary purpose of your job is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, educational/intellectual, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by your supervisor.
- Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Life Enrichment Policies and Procedures.
- Must have knowledge of practical application of Life Enrichment skills such as creative expression, music, group leadership, crafts, leisure, etc.
- Activity Professional Certified or higher preferred, but not required (certification is required to complete assessments and MDS independently).
- Activity Professional Certified, APC through NCCAP; or Certified Therapeutic Recreational Therapist, CTRS through NCTRC; or an Activity Director Certified, ADC through NCCAP; or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, COTA who is certified through the state in which the community is located.
