Carries a caseload for both teletherapy and in-office work involving any or all of the Agency’s services, which will include individual, child, family, couples, and may include group treatment modality.. Clinician will receive training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) if they do not have previous certifications. This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based treatment to clients who are experiencing mental health symptoms related to traumatic event(s). This position will also facilitate group therapy interventions, provide onsite and community trainings regarding trauma and related distress, and will have a strong focus on enhancing resilience. Client/Family Therapy/Services <ul><li>Provides assessment and intervention to clients who are experiencing mental health symptoms related to traumatic event(s)</li><li>Facilitates group therapy sessions for adolescents and adults</li><li>Provides onsite and community trainings with a focus on enhancing resilience</li><li>Willingness to run groups with a focus on mind, body spirit health (yoga, mindfulness, meditation, art)</li><li>Carries a caseload for both teletherapy and in-office work involving any or all of the Agency’s services, which will include individual, child, family, couples, and may include group treatment modality.</li><li>Performs a full range of clinical duties including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of assessment and creation of treatment plans.</li><li>Facilitation and development of wellness opportunities.</li><li>Formulates understanding of clients’ situations, providing appropriate services with supervisory consultation.</li><li>Provides community and agency trainings regarding trauma and related distress</li><li>Participate in weekly group supervision </li><li>Clinician will receive training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) if they do not have previous certifications</li><li>Attend agency-held clinical training </li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy or a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program</li><li>Holds a clinical license for social work and/or counseling</li><li>Has a minimum of two years experience following the receipt of their clinical license</li><li>Trauma and resilience training/education</li><li>Strong clinical field placements, internships, or comparable experience. Couples and/or family therapy experience preferred</li><li>Self-awareness and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling conflict and disruptive behaviors</li><li>Able to work evenings two days per week</li><li>Requires an ability to move between West Rogers Park, Skokie and Northbrook.
