About This RoleWe’re seeking a Lead Fullstack Software Engineer to support our product team. Preference for this individual to be based at our office headquarters in Madison, WI (with the option of partial remote work), but open to position being fully remote. Reporting to the VP of Product and working closely with other senior team members, this individual will be the primary architect and developer of Amulet’s mobile and web applications for both the consumer and commercial products (from initial design and ideation through go-to-market launch). We’re seeking a candidate who can manage the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, QA, and release. This candidate should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Your Responsibilities Will Include:<ul><li>Perform data modeling and ensure robust data management practices, including managing Amulet’s cloud-based infrastructure</li><li>Utilize backend technologies like Node.js or Django, mobile engineering platforms like Flutter, Swift, or Android, and front-end development using React or Vue.js</li><li>Integrate BLE communication technology into the Amulet applications</li><li>Lead and facilitate discussions regarding software integration with hardware manufacturers</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus)</li><li>7+ years of relevant professional experience</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams</li><li>Experience leading and working cross-functionally across multiple teams</li><li>Will oversee the maintenance of Amulet’s mobile and web applications for both the consumer and commercial products and be the lead architect and developer of new mobile products from initial design and ideation through go-to-market launch.</li></ul> Preferred Experiences and Skills:<ul><li>Prior work with a start-up or work on lean software development teams</li></ul> In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, the Lead Fullstack Software Engineer will take an ownership role in critical business operations and serve as a key member of the Amulet team.
