- The Clinical Social Worker III a licensed, experienced professional who is the clinical expert in the assessment and treatment of patients, families and social work consultation to the interdisciplinary teams in a variety of inpatient and ambulatory settings in the Yale New Haven Health System.
- The Clinical Social Worker III possesses clinical leadership abilities and is knowledgeable and skillful in communication and the treatment process, and provides services to the pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric or dual diagnosed patients/families and staff in the Yale New Haven Hospital network.
- The scope of practice includes but is not limited to diagnostic assessment, coordination of care, practice improvement, staff supervision, counseling, psychotherapy, brief treatment, teaching/mentoring, mental health consultation, and/or other project/task force participation as assigned by supervisor.
- The Clinical Social Worker III will work collaboratively with members of the health care teams throughout the organization.
