- The successful candidate will also teach existing courses and develop new courses (in English) in the undergraduate major in Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism, may be asked to train and supervise graduate student instructors, will assist in the development of a graduate program in applied linguistics, and provide service to the department, campus, and community.
- Ph. D. (or equivalent foreign degree) in Chinese, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field and demonstrated record of research in applied linguistics and Chinese; demonstrated record of independent teaching at a college or university level in a primarily English-speaking country.
