- Location: 258 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, MAPay Range: $20 to $23 per hourQUALIFICATIONSThe Kids Club Director (program administrator) shall be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following sets of requirements:Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in child development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, and Nursing.
- Have a minimum of six months (one year preferred) experience working with school-age childrenExperience with Christian Education Programs for school age children such as Sunday School or Vacation Bible Study preferred Must be able to plan, prepare and implement day-to-day activities.
- Represent The Salvation Army’s spiritual ministry and social mission in the Childcare ProgramCurrent Certification in American Red Cross Standard First Aid, or its equivalent and CPR.Direct an in-house after school/day camp program Monday-Friday for 40 children.
