REGULAR DUTIESMusic Ministry: Build and maintain the leadership of each parishes' music ministry, in a way that fosters prayer, discipleship, fellowship, youth involvement, and new leadership within parish life, while respecting the liturgical norms of the Roman Catholic Church.

Positions employed at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church and School - Austin, Texas help to extend the ministry of the Pastor in particular ways as outlined in the job description. All employees of the parish are engaged in ministry and closely tied to the Pastor in the exercise of his ministry and obligations to the church.

This includes the Administrator of Religious Education, the Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Director of Liturgy and Music, Business Manager, Pastoral Assistant and the Pastor. Collaborates with Pastoral Assistant in developing and coordinating small faith sharing groups, pastoral visitors, RCIA, RCIC adult leaders, Health Care Ministry, Food Cellar outreach.

Three years previous experience in pastoral ministry as Lead Pastor or Assisting Minister. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in pastoral studies/theology/religious studies or related to congregational or institutional Ministry or Pastoral Ministry certification program or proof of enrollment while matriculating in an accredited program leading to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification.

Assists with preparation and execution of Special Events conducted by the Childrens Ministry to include, but not limited to Kidz Camp, Adventure Week (VBS), and Preteen Weekend. for distribution for Childrens Ministry by collaborating with the Communications department.

Examples include, but are not limited to: youth pastor, campus minister, college/university chaplain, catholic young adult religious educator, religious camp counselor, parachurch young adult ministry leader, young adult ministry program director, etc.

Primary responsibilities will be to (1) lead youth in a parish as the Coordinator of Youth Ministry ("Youth Minister"), (2) participate in ministry-based religious education programs, retreat programs, service programs, and the other ministries of Fiat Ventures, with a (3) potential connection and responsibility in the Confirmation preparation process and program of the assigned parish.

This position works in close tandem with and is supervised by the Parish Youth Advocate and is a fantastic opportunity for one looking to broaden their skills and be mentored in youth ministry and ministry within a parish.

Ridgeview Christian Church (RCC) is a congregation of 200 average Sunday morning attendance, 45 average youth group attendance, and four ministry staff members. RCC prefers applicants who can already demonstrate communication skills, leadership, and interpersonal relationships, but the intern should expect to learn skills in practical organization and event planning, ministry counseling, public speaking, small groups and Bible studies, engaging with students, and leadership.
