- The IT Support Specialist II will need technical acumen along with a fantastic customer service approach to daily work.
- Develop, maintain, support, secure and optimize key functional areas, particularly laboratory information systems, local and wide area network infrastructure, active directory and server infrastructure, firewalls, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
- Responsible for the archiving of study data to network archive drives as specified in system/instrument specific SOPs.
- Benchmark, analyses, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Works with System Owners and SMEs to provide general IT support for validated applications (i.e. Calibration Manager, Empower, Ponemah, Provantis).
