- Position Summary The International Student Support Manager (ISSM) is the first-line supervisor performing a wide scope of complex duties and responsibilities in managing international support services.
- The ISSM plays a vital role in the department¿s goal to increase international student enrollment, program completion, and overall student experiences from admissions to post-completion by providing culturally responsive services to international students.
- About the Department International Education (IE) provides primary support for students on an F and a J visa who plan to enroll in College-Credit, International High School Completion (IHSC), Bridge Pathway, International Business Professions (IBP), and Intensive English programs.
- Assist in developing ELI online placement testing and enrollment guidelines in accordance with FERPA. Supervision of the Student Employees and Projects Hire and train student employees called Global Leaders (GLs) based on allotted annual budget to assign hours and tasks.
- Plan and adjust GLs work hours for the pre-scheduled IE-led events such as new student orientation, quarterly activities, and the annual International Education Week to enable GLs to lead the student volunteers.
