- This position is mission critical for the Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD) as the position works with the intake & Eligibility Bureau Central Registry Unit, to determine whether an individual meets the Developmental Disabilities criteria for the Developmental Disabilities Waiver.
- The purpose of the position is to determine whether individuals match the New Mexico definition of intellectual/developmental disability (DD), assist individuals and families through the allocation process, provide appropriate referrals to available resources, conduct outreach for the program and provide quality customer service.
- The position assists individuals and families with their applications for Home & Community Based Waiver (HCBS) waivers, provides referrals to available services for individuals, families and other stakeholders and conducts outreach for the program.
- This position is responsible for making eligibility determinations to ensure that the Developmental Disabilities Supports Division (DDSD) continues to process Developmental Disability Waiver registrations and applications in a fair and timely manner.
