- The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare, seeks a creative Instructional Designer to oversee the research, development, and implementation of initiatives to enhance the quality of virtual continuing medical education (CME) activities and to support related products and services.
- Manage the project workflow and lead the design, development, implementation, revision, and maintenance of virtual education course offerings.
- Contribute to the development of and improvements to the user interface, navigation, layout, and content for the AAP Education Learning Management System (LMS) and all other AAP virtual education products.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) standards for all educational programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or virtual instruction related degree required, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
