- This position sits within a six-member Development and Communications Team. It requires an individual who is passionate about using their grant writing and other fundraising skills to advance EBCLC’s mission to promote racial justice through legal services and policy advocacy.
- We seek candidates with demonstrated experience working with philanthropic partners; a proven track record of successful grant writing; and who excel at strategically developing compelling proposals and cultivating and stewarding funder relationships.
- This entails working collaboratively with EBCLC’s Development Director, Executive Director, Finance Director, Deputy Directors, Program Directors, and other programmatic staff;
- With a dual service and teaching mission, EBCLC is a racial justice organization committed to building a culturally diverse workplace, centered on equity.
- With about 75 staff, 100 law students a year, and a $10 million annual budget, EBCLC is the largest provider of free legal services in Alameda County, providing multimodal, collaborative, and holistic legal services to approximately 4,000 clients annually and engaging in legislative and policy advocacy at the state and local level.
