- In this Turbine Generator Mechanic (Winder) role, you will perform operations involving the inspection, disassembly, assembly, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical components in Turbine Generators with emphasis on the Generator Rotating Field.
- Perform mechanical disassembly, refurbish & reassembly of generator rotors in high quality and timely fashion using induction heating machines, large propane torches, overhead cranes and various hand and power tools (i.e., removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, blocking, copper coils)
- Braze copper winding connectors either by propane torches, carbon resistance or induction heaters.
- Experience using pneumatic and electrical tools (impact guns, grinders, saws, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a mechanical or industrial field (examples: HVAC, Automotive repairs or manufacturing, Heavy Equipment repairs, Power Generation)
